My friends dog was savagely attacked by a grey pitbull terrier in Pitshanger Park yesterday afternoon. The owner who was mid twenties, possibly Latino has another large black dog with him. After the attack he just ran off.

The dog that was attacked is a placid old dog who does not have an agressive bone in him, The dog came up to him, stood over him, unprovoked and attacked, not once but once taken off he was not put on a lead and went on to attack again. The wounds are so severe that does not have enough good skin to stitch him back together. My friends dog is now in intensive care, after many hours in surgury we wait to see if he will survive.

I am a dog owner myself (Daisy) and I ask that everyone is watchful and you must keep away from this dog. I repeat it was a grep pitbull, very distinct colouring.

Why is there so much rubbish in the park?

  Domestic rubbish in the bins.

plastic bottles strewn all  around the  football pitches.
